Stony Creek Trail Days 4/21 and 6/23

Postby Snappy » Sun Apr 08, 2018 9:37 pm

CRAMBA has a few scheduled trail days out at Stony Creek. Let's show the trails a little RG love!

Dates: April 21st and June 23rd

If you're not racing Barry why not head out to Stony to help out a little then go for a ride. I will be at the June 23rd trail day. Hope to see a bunch of hounds out there too.

(9:00 am - 1:00 pm)

Location: Stony Creek Metropark - West Branch, W Branch Dr, Oakland Charter Township, MI 48306, USA

Description:

Join CRAMBA for trail work days at Stony Creek Metropark. Meet at the West Branch / Shelden Trails area, lot B. Main focus of the trail work is to help mitigate the effects of erosion and general wear and tear on the trail surface, striving to returning the trail surface to it's original condition. Additional projects will be identified and tackled as needed.

Bring appropriate clothing and supplies for a day of working in the woods: long sleeves and pants, boots, gloves, water, and snacks (if needed). Tools will be on hand, but if you personally have hand tools that you prfer (rakes, shovels, loppers) please bring them.

Just a reminder that there will be a trail day out at Stony Creek this Saturday. I planning on being out there and hopefully see some other smiling GREYHOUND faces out there too. If you plan to go, wear your GREYHOUND gear. I'm going to ride afterwards so bring your bikes.
